A day at the Camp
Dream Day on Cape Cod offers a camp life experience to our children and families. Our activities at Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe are both traditional and unique. Each day our programs begin at 8 am with a full breakfast prepared by our camp chef. Our daily activities begin at 9 am.
A day at camp can include arts n crafts, canoeing and kayaking, or swimming at one of our local ponds. We also enjoy trips to the ocean each week. Our camp facility is equipped with our own playground, archery range, rock wall and low ropes course. At the end of each day our campers assemble for our nightly campfire ceremony. Here we sing, dance and perform at our outdoor amphitheatre. During the week we also travel to see some of the Cape's most popular attractions. Each week our camp can enjoy horseback riding, whale watches, bumper boats, go-carts and mini golf. All of our activities are free of charge to our children and families. All of our meals each day are prepared by our chef and kitchen staff.
Our staff also includes a full time Camp Director, Program Director, Nurse and many counsellors and lifeguards. The goal of our camp experience is to bring together our special families and children and provide a place where everyone, despite their physical limitations can enjoy the outdoors and experience all that the Cape has to offer. Dream Day is a place where new friends are made and where our families can be pampered by a loving staff. Every day at Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe is an adventure and a place to spend time with your family in an exciting but relaxed environment.

Summer Program: Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe
Nestled amid the stately pines surrounding Nickerson State Park in Brewster lies Camp Nan-Ke-Rafe. Over the past 7 years, this 17-acre facility, operated by Dream Day on Cape Cod, has hosted nearly 300 children with life-threatening illness and their families each for one week at no cost to them.
Facility
The campground includes a dining hall, screened-in porch, and fully equipped
kitchen. The camp also has a centralized bathhouse with showers, including
a handicap bathroom and six showers. We have an office building that staffs
a full-time Director, 8 family cabins, 4 staff cabins, and a first aid station.
The campground is adjacent to Rafe Pond, which is the setting for many of
our waterfront activities. We also boast our own archery ranch, low ropes
course, outdoor theater, nature trailer, and playground.
